Hulu out in Private Beta (AND I HAVE Hacked INTO IT)!
October 30th, 2007
Hey everyone. So I was settling down to do homework, but was thinking about hulu which is a tv show website that combines all of th best shows into the site using flash. Sort of like joost and youtube combine except better. I pulled it up on my laptop and found out a way to hack into it to get an account. it’s really pretty simple. Just ask for a private beta invite, go onto the login page, click forgot my password, type in your email address, and bingo! This is the main page. It is really just straight forward. The big banner is from flash and you can scroll through allof the recent shows that way.
The video begins with an ad and before the add it speaks: “This is brought to you by____ with limited advertising.”
The videos are in flash and have related videos below it.
You can brows shows here.If you want more pics just comment in the comment section.EDITORS NOTE: If your a blog owner with many hits daily. I might give you the secret.
A Desktop That Will Make You Rock
October 18th, 2007
This is for anyone who is interested in making their desktop look a lot better. Here is my new desktop that I just formed today.
If your a Windows Vista user, you know that the widgets on here come with the OS, but the toolbar (on top), the cmd (middle), and the background doesn’t. The cmd isn’t the regular prompt, but it allows you to run things. All you have to do is type a program in (it guesses so you don’t have to write all of the name) and press enter. I’m using the half version. The full version costs $20. It is called Command Dash. The toolbar is called Stocdock Objectdock.
Problem with template
October 18th, 2007
Something has happened to my site. I will fix it soon, but I can’t do it now. For now, just enjoy the content.
Update: I have changed the template and it now looks pretty good (right?). There are still a few things I need to do with it so hold your horses.
HTC has Googles Phone Platform in it’s new HTC Dual Touch
October 18th, 2007
Are you waiting for the gphone? Can’t wait any longer? Well many people are thinking that the new HTC Dual Touch has the gPhones platform, and inside sources aren’t denying it. You’ll have to wait a little bit longer, but here’s a demo of the HTC Dual Touch phone.
Fix8
October 18th, 2007
I’ve been trying to get to fix8, because I’ve recently gotten a chance to check it out. Fix8 is an awesome program that renders a cartoon face over your face and uses face recognition to make your emotions on the cartoon look real. Of course, you do have to have a webcam. This free program also allows you to talk on messengers that are web cam capable. Enjoy your cartoon.
An Update for the gPhone, or should I call the Google Mobile?
October 9th, 2007
It’s been along time since I’ve posted anything about this, but now I’ve got a little information. The New York Times has suggested that Google is not competing with the iPhone and instead competing with the Windows Mobile. I knew it wasn’t competing with the iPhone, but I was somewhat bedazzled about it competing with that phone. Now, I suppose it makes loads of sense, since Google has been trying to become the next Microsoft.
It is another surprise to hear that the phones may come with a few applications, but the phone providers will a come up with the true base to them. The phone partners might be focused more on Youtube.
Double the Private Beta-Double the Fun
October 9th, 2007
Mixaloo is a private beta website that allows you to create mixes of songs and then sell them in either their site, or other social networks including facebook for points that can be used on other tracks or merchandise from the store. The only problem with this, is that the music is DRM protected.
Seesmic is supposedly a dashboard for all of your videos. You can grab your videos from youtube and many other sites that carry videos. It is like a twitter for videos.

Stixy-the Virtual Bulletin Board
October 6th, 2007
Stixy is a bulletin board-like website that allows you to use widgets to download certain files. Right now, all you can download is photos and documents, which seams good to me. You can share a space with others, or you can have your own personal one. You can also set todo’s on your board and post notes. Of course, this is only a small beta site. In the future, I’m hoping for a widget that connects you to the news feeds on facebook. That would be totally awesome. What would you want for a widget on an online virtual bulletin board?
