Sprout Builder-Get in Now!
February 2nd, 2008
Sprout is a creative builder which allows you to build widgets (or sprouts) easily. It uses flash to build and then easily allows you to embed or post this on anything including facebook. It allows you to add music, videos, dates, images, and more to a sprout. Here is a sample of what you can do:
Right now, Sprout is in private beta, but you might be able to get an account with this. Just go to the building area, create something, save it, and it will ask you to create an account before you work is saved. There you have it!
Endorsing Obama For President
January 20th, 2008
Today I am going to endorse Barack Obama. I’ve been a fan of him for months, but now I’m going to start something bigger. I know it’s not something if I just say it (like the big ol’ devil, Hillary Clinton, says) so in the next few weeks I’ll begin helping him out. Get ready to see a big change. (NOTE: I did purposely put some categories on the post that have no relevance to the intended purpose, but take a look at it. You’ll find that it is sort of related.)
How to Fly, Turn, and Land in the Google Flight Simulator
September 3rd, 2007
In all of the blogs that posted the Google Flight Simulator (I was the 4th), I did not see people saying “How to turn or land a plane.” For people who have not seen my other post about this, to unlock the flight simulator from Google Earth, press Ctrl+Alt+(Capital) A. For Mac users, It is Command/Open+Apple Key+Option+(Capital) A. I’m going to say the words to the plane parts, not the keys, then you can consult this key controls list.
So you’re at the airport (Don’t worry about turning. It does it for you). First, increase the thrust. Then, when you have enough speed, press the down key to lift off. Retract the gear (those are your wheels) when your finally stable and you’re off! To turn, press the shift key and press the right key to turn right and the left key to turn left. Landings the hardest part. To land, extend the gear, increase the flap setting to %100, and reduce the thrust a little. If you reduce it all the way, the speed of your plane will slow down so much that you will fall. Then, go down slowly. You can go down any way. Just be sure to be on the number “0″ when you land. When your landing, Pull both breaks and reduce the thrust all the way. Keep on pressing the breaks until your plane has stopped.
Congratulations. You have just flown a plane!
