I don’t know about you, but I feel like celebrities have faded away during the course of this election. I’m not saying this is a bad thing or a good one. I’m just saying that I’ve noticed this. They haven’t endorsed anyone nor said anything. Well now they’ve voiced something. Here is the Yes WE CAN video clip. Send this to your friends.

Audio Ads? No Way! (Yes Way)

February 3rd, 2008

Five second audio ads are making their way to websites near, or accessible, by you. Pay-Per-Play NetAudioAds just opened yesterday, and it allows webmasters to earn commission every time a person check out their blog. Why am I telling you this? Because this is what I am doing. The audio will probably not start until 30 to 60 days after this post, but once it starts, and you don’t like it, just go back to this post and complain. I’m open to taking this off if my users really don’t like it, but at least give it a try. Remember that I need the money to continue the blog. Oh, and if you want to try this out, don’t hesitate, you could still be a core user, Sign up here.

NOTE: You do not even have to have a website to earn the money. This program has a referral system too. Just sign up and contact you friends.

youtorrent.jpgLike illegally and legally downloading music, movies, and more? Really? Me too (note: not really!) YouTorrent is the newest search engine available. It searches many of the pirate websites including BitTorrent and allows you to download them. It also compares the results of the pirate sites so you can make the correct choice and most likely not get a virus on your computer. As it is a search engine, not an actual pirate date site, it may not be shut down. However, it may so try it now!

Musana-Your Music Online

January 18th, 2008

Private Beta site, Musana is a website where you upload an unlimited number of mp3’s (only limit is 15mb a song) and stream them to your computer. Like other sites, you can also embed the players into your website. The website has a really cool flash and javascript interface. It is a really cool a pretty darn cool idea.

There has already been people playing music on video sites like YouTube, but what about that superstar favorite of yours? He/she wouldn’t play on a silly site like that where you get no money. But how about Deep Rock Drive? As boring as the name sounds, it’s actually a pretty awesome idea. Get 1000 people to sign a petition for a particular band or artist and then the site gets the band to come over to their studios and give a over the web live concert. Here’s how it works, the band goes into this studio with cameras surrounding them and two huge screens. The surrounding cameras allow any user who is watching to pick the view they crave. One of the huge screens are actually to show the band what the viewers are saying. Yes. You can actually ask your favorite band to play your favorite song. The last screen is the background screen. You know, the ones that you see in any top notch concert. The tickets only cost about $6.00.

(Note: “music” is now added as a category and “movies” has been changed to “videos”)
